The assignment of a marker to a BAC is based on the hybridization of BAC to
the probes derived from DNA sequences of the markers.
BAC assignment is completed by two-step experiment:
(1)Primary library screen;
(2)Second-step confirmation.
Notice: If the same BAC maps to distant markers, it usually indicates the inconsistency
between our data and the genetic marker locations assigned by MGD linkage map.
